The Ford Smith Collector Appreciation Party was an incredible night of art and music that set a new standard for art shows anywhere. This exclusive event, celebrating Ford Smith’s top Atlanta collectors, was the hot ticket of the season.
The private party took place in Ford's home studio and gallery, featuring 4 levels of the artist's newest paintings, among them Ford's latest large-scale 72"x 84" original, the American Christmas series, Small Wonders and more. We even unsealed "the vault" of vintage Ford Smith paintings for lucky collectors before they go into professional storage and preserved for his art legacy.
World-class talent was seen AND heard as guests were thrilled to be treated with live music from legendary jazz great, Joe Gransden, and pianist Jeff Dock, who wowed the audience with two sets played on the terrace by the lake.
Also featured was artist, Eddie Freeland, who unveiled new sculpted glass paintings from the collaborative "In Concert" series of paintings with Ford—and evening a couple of Eddie’s own!
So much fun, and such a success we will make this event (catered by Little Alley's Steakhouse) an annual affair.
